In an appeal published in the newspaper Libération, the mayors of three major French cities — Paris, Lyon and Marseille — called on France and the EU to impose sanctions on Azerbaijan for the blockade of the Lachin corridor
The French mayors stated that the situation is unacceptable and that France cannot tolerate the constant danger faced by 120,000 Armenians living in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, part of which is occupied by Azerbaijan.
