Artsakh switches to a schedule of four-hour rolling blackouts to save electricity

  • The Office of the Armenian Representative for International Legal Affairs reports on its official Facebook page that the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has sent an urgent notification to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on monitoring Azerbaijan's implementation of the ECHR decision of December 21, 2022 on unblocking the Lachin corridor.
The representative of Armenia on International Legal Issues provided the ECHR with updated information on the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh and asked the court to immediately notify the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe of Azerbaijan's non-compliance with the decision.
The ECHR considered the arguments of both sides and completely rejected Azerbaijan's requests.

  • Artsakh is switching to a schedule of four-hour rolling blackouts to save electricity. The decision was made at a meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the leadership of the Minister of State of the Republic of Artsakh (NKR), Chief of Staff Ruben Vardanyan.
