The International Court of Justice has directed the Azerbaijani authorities to stop the blockade of the Lachin corridor

The International Court of Justice has directed the Azerbaijani authorities to stop the blockade of the Lachin corridor, the only road that connects Armenia with Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan must "take all measures at its disposal" to ensure unimpeded traffic along the corridor in both directions, the president of the court in The Hague, Joan Donoghue, ruled Wednesday, February 22.

In addition, the UN body rejected Baku's complaint on the alleged mines by Armenia on the territory of the region. Azerbaijan did not provide corroboration to its claim, Donoghue explained.
