The educational process has been suspended in Artsakh. Due to the energy crisis, a special mode of operation of state institutions is being introduced.

According to the Operational Headquarters of the Republic of Artsakh, due to the blocking of gas and electricity supplies to Artsakh by Azerbaijan, the republic is in an energy crisis.

Since January 19, state structures in Artsakh will operate in a special mode in order to ensure uninterrupted operation of vital facilities for as long as possible and to meet the needs of the population for electricity.
In particular, employees whose work requires presence at the workplace will come to work; the rest of the employees will work remotely.
The possibility of introducing stricter measures for the purpose of more rational use of electricity is noted.

Official representatives of Artsakh will address the Parliament of Canada on the issue of blocking the Lachin corridor.

3 sessions on the blockade of Artsakh will be held in the Parliament of Canada. Representative of the Republic of Artsakh in the USA and Canada Robert Avetisyan and Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan were invited to the meeting to inform about the situation.

In Artsakh, the educational process in schools will be suspended from January 19 due to interruptions in gas and energy supply.
